About

Jaimie Bowman is a speaker and writer who seeks to help women to find their unique purpose and calling. As a Licensed Minister and pastor's wife, she has been serving women for over 15 years. When Jaimie became a mother to two boys, 23 months apart, she entered a new world of parenthood that she thought she was prepared for. What she didn’t know was that God would begin to mold her and shape her into a new person with a heart to reach other mothers.

Jaimie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Church Leadership. She has served the church in various positions including: youth pastor, women's pastor, lay pastor, MOPS leader, and pastor's wife.  For the past seven years she has been studying the specific issues that mother's face, inspiring her to write her first book, which she hopes to be completed in 2013.

For six years Jaimie ran a successful photography business, specializing in babies and young children. In 2011 she felt led to close her business to focus on encouraging mothers through speaking and writing. As a speaker, Jaimie is popular among women’s gatherings and MOPS affiliated meetings. She reaches audiences with warmth, laughter and credibility. For her, writing is therapeutic, and she has chronicled her journey through motherhood on her popular blog The Wonder Years:
Musings and Misadventures of Motherhood.

Other websites have hosted Jaimie as a special guest, including www.5minutesformom.comwww.pastors.com, www.rageagainsttheminivan.comwww.abloggymom.com, www.devotionaldiva.com, Mitera Magazine and others.
